My sister in law gave me this yesterday. Salted Eggs are made of duck eggs that is cooked and preserved in brine. The eggs will have a bit of salty taste and is good for some dishes. Some include this in ensalada (salad)with green mangoes and tomatoes. Some make them into a sandwich. Have you tried one?

Yup. I've tasted it, it's good. But not to be eaten everyday. It's so salty.

@rakski Oh, that's great! It's uncommon to find salted eggs that are not salty at all.

During the war years, some people would pickle eggs but I don't know anyone who does it nowadays.

Yes. Proud to be Filipino, I've already tried that. Happy with that. However, controlling that because I'm already 45 years old.
