Let The Fun Begin

It's Wednesday Everyone and a cold, windy day to boot. Today is reno day for the bathroom. My son and two grandsons got here early this morning and the fun started. It's noisy as heck and they are in and out, up and down the stairs for what seems like a million times already. Must be nice to have the ability to go up and down the stairs so many times without feeling like you're going to die. My youngest grandson will be 15 in two weeks and he's the one doing most of the legwork. Youth!! I'm so jealous. Today is mostly just demo day. Its a busy day here today

I hope the renovations go off without a hitch. I never thought at 21 that I would have so much trouble getting around in my 70s. Ahhh to be young again!!

I know exactly how you feel. I've been watching both my grandsons and my son run up and down the stairs all day. I envy them having such agility and I miss the days when I could run around.

@LindaOHio I can certainly understand about the weight. I need to lose weight myself and I know my knees would be happier too.

I can feel the excitement and the pain as they go up and down those stairs so often. It's good they're young and can handle those stairs.

I know I used to be able to run up and down stairs but it's such a distant memory.

@Marilynda1225 And getting more distant with each passing day. I don't know when the last time I did any running, let alone running up stairs. It's a far-distant memory.

I know how you feel, I spent the day today at our son's place. My knees are tired from getting up and down from the floor after playing with Willow and Harper. The reno day is always the worst, but.......it is only going to get better from here.
