Holi marks the transition of spring season with summer season in India. After spring the entire country gets heated up. After playing with the colours there is fun sending time in the swimming pool. There is lovely breeze of spring and everyone enjoy swimming in the swimming pool.

There is still two weeks before Spring in my part of the US and people don't dare go swimming until May or they can freeze bits of themselves off.

@sathviksouvik It's normal Winter. Our Winter never ends before the end of March or middle of April.

@DaddyEvil thanks DE in India already 2 seasons have intervened. Spring started in middle of February. It will last another week. summer will begin by late March and continue till June. Thereafter it will be monsoon

@sathviksouvik I don't celebrate, I'm Vietnamese but one of my besties is & she celebrates Holi.

You two look so happy. No way would I swim in an outdoors pool right now. The gym I go to has a youth pool that is warm. I go there twice a week to work out my joints and legs in the warm water.
