A flat battery - but not in the car

We went to a motor museum today. There were two big warehouse-sized buildings full of all sorts of cars, motor-bikes, models and memorabilia.
I was very keen to take some photos to show you all. Would you believe it? I turned the camera on and it said ‘flat battery’ and folded itself away. I was so annoyed. It was really stupid of me. Luckily, Vince had his camera and he was SO good about taking photos of anything I wanted. But it’s not quite the same.
He is processing the photos now so I’ll have some to show you soon. We were there from 10am to 4pm and took a picnic lunch. Vince’s brother and his grandson were with us. They are both really interested in the old cars but the young lad is particularly knowledgeable and he had a great time.
The photo is mine from a museum in Wubin, Western Australia. The car is a Buick but I don’t know the year.

Back in those days, they really took care of their vehicles...I saw one like this on our roads...yeah...road...some rich guy owned it...it read on the rear... a vintage car is like another man's wife, you may appreciate her beauty, yearn for her, but not touch her.

There are two big warehouses full of cars and then farm machinery in another area.

I was so annoyed. Before I left, I was wishing I'd charged the battery but I didn't even get one photo!!

@evilamericans That's a good idea. We have spare batteries for the 'good' cameras but not for my little point and shoot.

He took some great photos for me but it's not quite the same as being able to take your own.

Great photo. My husband would be interested in seeing a car museum more than I would. I'm glad you had a good time. I always carry an extra battery. I'm glad Vince had his camera.

Once I wouldn't have found them interesting but now I read all the signs and find all sorts of interesting things.

I'll get them up gradually but I have to write enough about each one too. I could do a collage but then you can't see so much detail.

I know you, your photos always rock but the photo is so fine. I understand how it feels when you badly need your phone and it has low battery . Hope next time you will go with your power bank. Waiting for your cool photos!

There must have been hundreds of cars on display. It was very impressive.
