Have you ever seen models falling off their shoes on the runway? If not, check out the video at the end of this discussion.
Today's "Fad or Fashion?" entry cannot be a plausible pair of shoes. How would you stand up in them? How tall would you be? How much would your feet hurt? I hear so many women on TV complaining how much their feet hurt in these ultra-high platform heels. It makes sense since so many of these shoes make you practically stand on your toes.
What do you think about these shoes?

I have seen models fall off their shoes on the runway, and it makes me really angry that designers would endanger their models like that. It's not like people are actually going to buy shoes like that. The shoes in the picture are probably pretty stable, as weird as they look, but they are probably also painful because it hurts to be en pointe (on the very tips of the toes) like that - just ask a ballerina.

They are not shoes meant to be worn but only to be displayed. You'd be breaking your ankles or knees if you try walking in those shoes. But perhaps you can, if you get to practice a lot.
But I would never wear one unless the pay is in thousands or millions.

These are ridiculous. I wouldn't be wearing these. I don't go by the fads and things. I think this type of shoe is a wear at your own risk type of thing.

The shoes that you shared on this post look awkward.
