Hi guys! I talked about being anxious about my family visit here in Bath today but due to unforseen events they visited yesterday instead. Instead of 20 people only 16 people came. And because the visit was impromptu we couldn't book a table and ended up splitting into 4 groups. We ate at Pizza Express. Andre and I were at the same table as my aunt and uncle from the Philippines who barely spoke any English. But bless them they tried to talk to him despite that. I ended up translating a lot. We only had to pay for their meals
It was a rainy afternoon and my cousins from London did not have much time so it was a short visit. We had photos at Bath Abbey, Pulteney Weir, and Bath Market. They seemed happy enough with the short visit. My wallet is not so sad.

I've not been very active here for some time which is a shame as I should have followed you.
I may be moving to Bath this year

@Mike197602 Well they are all good places. I have not heard of Worcs before.

@flapiz A potential new job.
I'm looking to move to a hotel in Worcs. but someone messaged me about a potential place in Bath.
I've a couple of other options in York and Edinburgh.

After all it seems that you enjoyed it all. And I´m glad it was not as expensive as you thought.

@flapiz I´m a good cook and love to cook. And I live alone in my own house so I can do what I want here.

@marguicha That is way cheaper indeed just a lot of work afterwards. Unfortunately for me I am renting a bungalow and sharing it with the landlady so I cannot have gatherings as of the moment. Are you a good cook?

Thank goodness for that it was making me very stressed and anxious last week.

I am glad your visit went well. I am sure it is a relief that it is done and was a success.

Definitely! I was stressing way too much but they seemed quite happy just to roam around. It was unfortunate the weather was not great.

Thank you so much. Having a big family is a blessing but can be quite expensive. I think not being sat at one table saved my wallet. God's saving grace I would say.
