It hit 73 F here today! Has Spring arrived in Northern California?

My mates and I had an epic jam session/practice today at my friend's house in Antioch CA. We played music for five hours, and really honed some of our tunes. I introduced a new song I wrote last week, and we're integrating it into our repertoire, along with a Mose Allison song I've been working on. We also covered All Blues, by Miles Davis.
When we went outside for a break, we noticed that it wasn't just tolerable outside. It was warm. I checked Mike's thermometer, and it was 73 F out, which I think translates to 22 C or so. We kicked back for awhile and told lies (stories).
Right now, it's calm, with no rain. I never mind rain here, but I hope we get some hiking weather soon.
I played piano and guitar with the band. But after Rod and Jack left, Mike and I finished up with our version of Moonlight in Vermont, which we've been doing for years. He played guitar and sang, and I played upright bass. I'll attach Frank's version of that one. It has some jazzy changes, but they're less complex than they sound.

We had some snow and then rain, then sleet, then little bitty ice pellets. It was a sort of frozen misty snow a little earlier, too. But spring will come in it's time. Enjoy your nice weather.

I'm glad you had a good time with your friends, pony.
Enjoy your Spring-like weather. It was below freezing all day today and our low tonight is supposed to be around 20F. That's decidedly "chilly".

@TheHorse We're warm and snug in the house tonight. As far as I know, we don't have to go anywhere until my early morning appointment on Thursday. It's supposed to be a high that day of 62F but storming.

It's been doing its regular rain, snow, sleet, sun, rain, snow in Oregon and Washington. I just moved to Washington from Oregon. I'll be going back and forth. I know where Antioch is. I lived in Bakersfield for most my life until 8 years ago. Drove truck and went through there often.

@TheHorse Yep. Trout's, Black board, Funny Farm, Wild Bill's, Longbranch, Texas Barrel House....Merle Haggard, Bill Woods, Buck Owens, Eugene Moles, Red Simpsom..... Marty Haggard went over to my sister's often. He hated it if we played his dad's albums. Now he will sing in his memory.
I went to Trout's off and on. Silver Bullet is where I first saw Vince Gill. He was just starting out. Patty Lovelace and Johnny Rodriquez at the Funny Farm. Buck Owens at the Crystal Palace. My sister dated his son a couple times many years ago. That was interesting. She also did Bonnie Owens hair when she was married to Merle. Lot's of history growing up in Oildale/Bakersfield.

For us 22°C is cooler compared to our weather temperature today is 29 which feels like 34.
