Yes, it's raining yet again after a partly clear afternoon yesterday.
I am taking a break from my usual eggs and bacon or hash. I have some lox, cream cheese and bread here, but I wasn't in the mood this morning, so I cooked up some rice and teriyaki chicken.
It did the job, and now I'm sipping away at my second cup of coffee and checking my email.
How is the weather where you are today? And of course, what did you have for breakfast today?

It's 31F and cloudy here. The prediction for today was for us to reach 47F but it's 12:30 pm and I don't think it will make it.

@TheHorse I flavor mine with vanilla and some sugar free maple syrup. It’s maybe texture wise a bit like tapioca.

That sounds like a great breakfast, I love chicken any time, We are having a sunny day but it rained a lot yesterday, No breakfast today but I had a big lunch with French fries and a burger,

It was snowing here today but unfortunately no accumulation. Only wet snow. And now it's windy. Today for breakfast I had a dry pigeon pea and onion omelet with an arugula salad on the side. And after that Irish soda bread, farmer cheese with wild strawberry preserves and a cup of instant coffee as we are out of fresh beans.

@TheHorse Of course fresh coffee is better than instant but I find that Taster's Choice instant coffee is pretty good.

I am not sure what lox is.
My husband made eggs, bacon and biscuits for everyone for breakfast. I didn’t eat any I just had coffee. A very late lunch I had was an apple slices with peanut butter, raisins and walnuts. After a big dinner I got hungry for a snack around 9:30 and ate a few bowls of cereal with raisins, craisins and walnuts in it. So while I didn’t eat breakfast today I did eat breakfast food before bed.

I love teriyaki chicken. The temp should be 80 by Friday! I hope it's not a scorcher this summer. I haven't had breakfast. Waiting for lunch to arrive.
