In "a conflictual situation"? I don't think I have, though I might have been in conflict with someone or something. Why can't people speak in plain language?

Lawyers do not know plain language and some try to imitate.

Well, of course. But all those negative things, I don't want to remember that. It hurts.

Because they want to be fancy pants. Yes I have been in many of those situations. Some were my fault.

The latest fashion in speech seems to be 'reaching out' to people or whatever. I've never heard of 'conflictual'.

Most people speak what we call mumbo jumbo so that they sound more intellectual than others,

On Twitter I have to deal with young female professional wrestlers who I follow who talk in computer language to the point I feel like Fred and Lamont Sanford asking Officer Smith who is Black to interpret what Officer Swanhouser who is White said.
