Bondi Beach, Sydney Australia

I just got a glimpse of this beautiful beach while on a package tour of Australia We just got ten minutes and I used all those 10 minutes until the bus driver summoned me to get in - I was the last to and they were waiting for me.
We arrived there in the morning and the beach was empty with not a soul in sight The beach was spotlessly clean and we were told that it is cleaned once in four days.
It gets crowded in the evenings as can be seen in the photo.
Would you prefer an empty beach or a crowded one?

@allknowing if you go on vacation and want to see the beach and ocean I guess this is what you would have to deal with to get that experience. When did you go to Australia?

@shaggin Years ago That was my last foreign tour - Australia and New Zealand. But I have vivid memories.

Mumbai is another place where beaches always get crowded specially the Juhu Beach.

@sjvg1976 There are so many beaches in India and one possibly cannot go to all of them. I have been to many and I am satisfied.
We have beaches close by to where I live.

@allknowing and they are dirty too. I have heard the beaches of Orissa are good.

I would much prefer an empty beach, although I might be suspicious if there is nobody else at all there. I might wonder if there's something wrong and that's why it's empty! I don't like crowded places at all.

No, I'd be miserable in a crowded place but I'd be OK in an empty place once I was certain it was simply unpopular
I visited an English seaside town in January. Most places were closed, and the weather was cold and windy. I was happy then

@allknowing Oh well there are many sharks in warm waters usually. That is why I prefer the freezing cold waters up North

I've been to this beach when I visited Sydney. I prefer an empty beach. I don't like crowded places.

@allknowing Beaches in Hong Kong are very crowded unless you go very early in the morning.

Same here. When we were holidaying in Goa, India we did it in the rains and the hotel so to say was all to ourselves.

That sure is an indication that it is a popular beach.

I agree with you. Too empty would be quite scary (lol)
