I almost forgot to write about this, but I went on my mystery shop yesterday, it was in an area I don't usually go to, kind of a water based area, close to the Chesapeake Bay. Anyway, on the way home I stopped at this touristy place I had not been in in a long time. At the register they were selling edible crickets in a package. They weren't disguised in chocolate or anything,,,and just looked very well buggy, with legs and everything...Umm, noo. not for me. I was asking the cashier if she had tried any, she said no, but her brother had and said they weren't bad. These were bacon cheese flavored. She said they sell alot of them..ummm, I don't think I could get past the texture. Would you eat them?

@snowy22315 Mine either. The mention of crickets brought back the memory of dealing with Morman crickets when we would go to Utah.

They would be funny to give someone as a gift.

can’t say I blame here. Do you think he would ever eat one? I feel like only young teens would eat one on a dare.

@shaggin Umm, I don't know. He has kind of an adventurous palate, but sis says no. She doesn't want to be around them..

I would. But not on a whim, only in a survival situation.

I would be more likely to say have cricket flour or something like that...not eat as a snack especially if they looked like bugs, like these did..

I am reasonably adventurous with my food, but you have to draw the line somewhere...like I said, I might try one..but the idea of chewing one up,,,grosses me out.

I wouldn't but it's good they seem to be fairly popular. We might all need to be eating them one day.
