What's for breakfast on this rainy Sunday morning?

Yes, it's raining again in the San Francisco Bay Area. I could hear it all night, and its just a drizzle now, but the clouds are telling me there's more in store.
I finally picked up some bacon yesterday at Trader Joe's. All of their bacon was "uncured." Do you even know what cured means? I don't. Is there something evil or politically incorrect about cured? Heck, they already killed the pig to make the bacon.
In any case, the bacon tasted fine this morning, as did the egg I had with it. I don't even know when Passover or Easter are, but I bough some Matzos and had that on the side. And of course my coffee. Gotta have coffee.
I hope you have had a good Sunday so far. Did you have a satisfying breakfast? Inquiring minds want to know.
Photo is of our Bay Bridge on a sunny Summer afternoon.

@TheHorse — I would point out the irony of eating trayf with matzah, but you already know that.
Passover starts the evening of April 5.

@FourWalls Todah Rabah. I did make a mental note about the irony of trayf with matzos as I was writing. And yes, I had to look up the word "trayf," though it was a foregone conclusion.

I'm guessing less salted. But, I don't know. You're getting the rain my husband wishes we would get. I'm seeing sunshine now and have chosen to run the dish washer today.

As the song says, “Seems it never rains in Southern California” because all the rain is stuck in San Francisco. Or, “If you’re going to San Francisco be sure to wear umbrellas in your hair.”
I had lunch for breakfast with the chicken taco salad and salsa at Chuy’s. The salsa has really helped my sinuses after the pollen attack brought on by the 80 MPH winds a couple of weeks ago.

@TheHorse — or….
“And if California slides into the ocean
Like the mystics and statistics say it will
I predict the liberals will still be griping
Until they get their fill”

We had light showers throughout night yesterday. It's another night and there are dark clouds. So it might rain or drizzle again. The day was sunny and pleasant
We had heavy Sunday brunch and didn't feel hungry for dinner. We just managed with some eggs lettuce sandwich for dinner.

@arunima25 Can you send me some of the paalak paneer? I really like it along side of curry chicken. I have matzos here and can pretend it's naan.

@TheHorse We had paratha( a kind of Indian bread) without stuffing, potato cauliflower currry, curd, lemon pickle, cucumber salad and yummy paalak paneer ( cottage cheese in creamy spinach curry). We still have leftovers and I would use them for lunch tomorrow.

Coffee, of course. I also had some pancake batter in the fridge begging to be used, so I obliged.

Not raining, tried to snow again, but the sun is now out.
As for breakfast today, just toast with jam and tea.
And I think the "unhealthy" bit about bacon is that they use salt in the process.

"Cured" meat means it has been preserved in some way to make it last longer. With bacon, it is cured with salt, nitrates and sodium. (Anything good can cause cancer, according to scientists... but you don't see scientists NOT eating good foods.)
I ate some of the barbecued chicken we cooked in the oven last night with mashed potatoes and bread. It was delicious.
It is still below freezing here. Pretty wants to go grocery shopping this afternoon... If it's still this cold, we don't need anything from the grocery store, as far as I'm concerned.

@TheHorse Sodium is an element that is used as a preservative. Salt is sodium and chlorine mixed atomically. Sodium doesn't occur by itself naturally. It has to be made in the lab.

Yesterday was another baked eggs day for us, with some feta cheese, parsley, green onion, salt an pepper for toppings. Today, I was back to cold cereal & yogurt.
If meat is "cured," it means that there are additives in it that may cause cancer, so uncured it much better.
It's cloudy here with rain predicted.

I skipped breakfast. We’ll be having a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich for dinner. I’ll be drinking a protein drink in a min.
