Work is work. hard work

My primary kiddo was glad to be back at school. He was happy and kind of "wound up". Getting back to the school routine kind of tired him out. I leave after lunch. He gets a few minutes rest period in that time. Today the afternoon helper got him out of his wheel chair, and he just leaned over on the bean bag chair and fell right to sleep. We had him doing hard work today.

Changing of routine is difficult for most people but don't worry everything will be alright.

He has a certain time frame each day where we allow him to be in the floor with no expectations. Sometimes he plays, sometimes he sleeps.

So I had that infection in my salivary glands, then it did not go away, so I saw a specialist. It is pretty well gone now.

For me, that's why I like to stay in one place rather than go back and forth. I was like that from school to university. If I don't have anything, I will sleep in the library, then continue doing reading or something in the afternoon, all at one place. If I go to campus in the morning, and go back home in the afternoon, I rather sleep and stay in the room until the next day.

Yes, if you have a lot of transitions it is exhausting.

@GardenGerty Yup! Somehow, the transition from one place to one place is more tiring then staying at one place.

I guess even the student, a child, felt the crunch of returning to a schedule after time off, we all do that ourselves on our first day back from a week off.

We challenge him more physically than he gets at home. He has a lot of ability but little want to.
