Vacation Travel Tales I : The Planning part

I shared a few posts in November and December when I had a Solo short trip to the Mountains. Initially, it was meant to be a family trip but I had to change it to a solo one due to some reasons. Yet a family trip was always on the cards. End November, I had part withdrawal from a Financial plan and moved it to a short 3 months deposit. This was to form the base for the planned family trip. Next was discussing the destination and then Mid March was finalized as the travel time. Almost one month before, we sat down and finalized the itinerary and the Hotel. So well.... this was some planning... Watch out for more. P.S - Due to a recent post by the Admin, sharing links from one post to another is probably not allowed. Still I would try to share more about the trip in my forthcoming posts.

Oh, I didn't know that you cannot share your post on any other post, maybe that's the reason why one of my posts was removed. What was the destination? I like the mountains of Uttarakhand I don't like Himachal Pradesh as it's too crowded there.

@sjvg1976 Himachal too has places I like. You can try Kasauli, which I visited in November 2022. It is a very British Raj style small town with nice views and a laidback spirit. Can be covered in one day. Or places like Khajjiar, Chail etc.

I too like offbeat destinations. There is some peace in secluded destinations. Away from hustle bustle. Shirdi they have senior citizen facilities - so darshan will be quick...am I glad I am old. LOL Plus travel agent offers one day complimentary stay in the group. Will cost only about 10000 bucks for entire trip. Sleeper bus .. not flying. Don't want anybody to pee on me. LOL

@vandana7 Not everyone is like that guy who peed on his nearby passenger LOL. I never heard that they have a special facility for senior citizens.

@vandana7 I will share more posts. We are back from the trip to a place in Himalayas in North India only. I will share certain pictures as well. You can try going to Ooty or Kodaikanal in April. They would have pleasant weather there.

Don't go in the summer if you're planning to visit Shirdi. It's too hot there. Also, visit Shengnapur if you plan to visit Shirdi.

@RebeccasFarm Yet a story series is difficult to share without links between posts. Still let me see.

Enlighten me please. It means that we cannot put links of our previous post to the current post we made. Am I correct?

@Adie04 I am playing safe. There was a recent Admin post, which looked like implying the same.
