Only in the Philippines can you see so many knockoff products like shirts, shoes, and bags. They are sold everywhere, especially online, and I sometimes wonder what the authorities are doing about it. It's illegal, right? I had a PTA meeting yesterday, and I was surprised to see some parents carrying LV bags and wearing Chanel shirts. They must be rich, I thought. Then the woman sitting beside me pointed out that the "Chanel" shirt actually had two N's - it was spelled "Channel." Oops! Would you buy or wear knockoff products?

I'd rather not have logos on my clothing, unless a company gives it to me... I have a heavy winter coat that a company gave me 30-something years ago that I still wear once in a while.

@sol_cee It's a coat... I wear it when it's really cold and hang it in the closet when I don't need it. What kind of care does it need? I have a heavy leather coat that is older but it still looks brand new... Coats don't need any special care.

I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase this stuff and I wouldn't knowingly buy it elsewhere. I don't really have much interest in it.

I went to Seoul before and there was a secret (or open secret?) shopping district for knockoff products

@sol_cee That happened in Hong Kong. There would be a door from the street shop into a second 'shop' at the rear.

That t-shirt . I'm not really into name brands or designer anything . I do remember in high school my friend introduced me to knock off perfumes . . . I remember liking the knock off of Giorgio, even though it was a teeny bit too strong .

What are knockoff products? In India it's illegal to sell smuggled goods.

Trust me,dear, knockoff is worldwide circumstance, there are lots of such products here. You may buy a branded clothes at a very low price, obviously, that's fake product. But still lots of ppl buy it due to low price.furthermore,i think this circumstance can't be eliminated, because there are requirements for knockoff forever.

I won't as that looks like accepting cheats. I recall imitation KIT KAT chocolate was sold as KAT KIT in Indonesia years ago. I heard one gets into trouble with such stuff in some European countries.

I think knockoff products exist in many countries. Many people want to own branded clothes, pants, bags, shoes and more. I don't really care that things and prefer to use something without a brand logo. But I still have some knockoff products

Haha, you're probably not alone. I think many people own a knockoff or two without making a big deal about it
