Today was a good day. I got up early, no surprise there.
I'm thankful I got everything done today. It feels good to be caught up with nothing pending.
I'm thankful I have the notifications finished and could spend some time with you today.
I'm thankful for a wonderful game of Canasta.
I'm thankful my friend will be here soon so we can go to the author event.
I'm thankful my new swimsuit arrived today. I didn't have a chance to try it on, so I'm hoping it fits properly.
That's my day. I did get a call from the pharmacy. When they said the out-of-pocket cost for the medication for the injections was over $5K, I'll be telling the doctor no go. I'm not paying for that.

I am grateful that my relatives and myself did enter an application to receive food assistance programs as well as in my case some health workers to assist me when I need help for my health problems.

wow, that is a lot for the medication. I am sorry to hear that. Not sure how a medication can cost that much

@just4him I know insulin is expensive too, some up to $2000. Luckily it's been covered for me so far.
My grandpa's infusions are over 10 grand a month, but insurance helps...my grandparents still pay at least 1 grand for it.

Well, I hope it's not a medication you need to live. Because, you're right. I wouldn't pay that kind of money. Not worth it. I want to live, but if I can't afford the basics to live.... forget it.

I know when I was in his office, he said it could be costly. He didn't say anything about a generic.
