It is raining here again...boo, hoo. However, it is supposed to quit mid day which is good as I have an event to go to at 2PM. I actually snuck in a mystery shop yesterday, but I don't have to send the report in until Sunday PM, yay and yay for that...no rush, rush and it gives me something to do over what is frequently a long weekend around here. What is going on with you today? I hope you have a nice day.

@snowy22315 Yes, I am. I have the news on and they gave preliminary totals. We got between 10-20 inches today. With what I'm seeing outside, I'll go with 20.

Our day started with a cold rain, it has upgraded itself to a mild but windy rain.
But it still beats having snow.
It is a good day to stay in here, eventually when that sun comes out to shine on the weekends we will be able to enjoy the great outdoors again.

It is supposed to clear up this afternoon and get nice, but I don't think it will be as warm as they say. It depends on how fast the cloud cover gets out of the way I guess. I hear the birds starting to sing, so it must be clearing alittle.

@snowy22315 Enjoy the nice weather for me.
I am happy it is a bit more mild, but wish that the sun were shining.
We need this rain to clean the salt and sand off of the roads, so eventually, the sun will shine and all will be good.

@snowy22315 I’d love 60°F today. My husbands in either Maryland or Delaware and said it’s really cold out. Stinks for him I was hoping it would be nice and he would go and have a good time and come back happy.

No sleet here, temp is about 60 I think. Rain appears to be slowing down..Good!

I hope the rains won't last long, so you can go about easily with your errands. Today was a lazy day. I just surfed online, MyLotted, and watched my fave K-drama, Queen of May. I babysat for an hour and took my nap on time. Now, I'm back on MyLot to try to answer some discussions.

I wish I liked to clean. I should read a book...how to develop a love for cleaning... I do enjoy the way things look when they are clean...but not enough to make myself do it all the time.

Between the wind and the rain it's just a horrible nasty day. My daughters went out to run a few errands and will bring back lunch.
Hope the weather cooperates so you can go to your event without getting soaked.

Yes, it had stopped by the time I went, but the sun didn't come out until about an hour ago. No way is it going to get to a high of 76 like one of the forecasts said. Later on I heard 71 and even that would be a stretch. It was quite cool at the track.

I was out and about earlier and it sleeted. Then, it stopped, then, we had some snow. The weather can't seem to decide just what it wants to do this time of year, so I just take what comes.
It's pretty cold and wet and blustery, I am going to go through some books so I can share or donate the ones I need to purge. Sounds exciting, yes?

Sounds like a necessary task. I am going to get off here in a minute and put new shoelaces in..wow more excitement. I think I would rather go through old books..
