As many of you know, friends, I turn on the news the first thing in the morning.
And today I was showed by the terrible tornado in in Mississippi where, besides the material damage, we have to regret several deaths that could even rise as the day goes on.
I hope all of you ar safe where you are, dear friends.
And let us do all we come for the people who have lost it all

I know. Many times I think that tornadoes are worse still than our earthquakes.

It is not easy as there is so much damage. And lives were lost too.

It seems that if it not one thing it is another. We had huge forest fires here all summer.

It was bad, not my area. I live in Mississippi and it was near our area. It was terrible.. Twenty three people lost their lives. The aftermath is devastating.

Every time I hear the word tornado, I remember the Katrina. It happened several years ago but there is still damage

The weather in the south for months has been terrible; and it still continues. We are lucky here in Ohio (knock on wood). We mainly get bad winter weather.

That's so sad, I missed the news. Maybe they will mention that in the news today. There's no morning news on Sundays.

I have a friend from my college years who lives not terribly far from where the worst of it hit. She and her husband had to take her mom and dad, who were staying with them, and go to a hotel, as part of their roof peeled off. She says it's OK, they aren't hurt and so many have lost loved ones and/or everything they have, they just feel thankful. Tornadoes are just pure hell.
