To host the ALVEO IRONMAN 70.3 Triathlon. Streets downtown were closed to make way for the event day which was yesterday. Many people waited on the sidewalks for the athletes to pass by and cheered for them. Speaking of professional athletes, they were from around the world. And the winners for the male and female categories were from Portugal and Australia respectively. Not to mention the finishers for the 70-75 years old age group. Respect to these athletes who could endure the heat and everything!
Photo is this year’s ALVEO IRONMAN 70.3 Triathlon luggage design in honor of my island.
Can you swim, bike and run?

I love that design on the luggage.
So the winners was 75?
How could they do that heat?
Yes I am an excellent swimmer, but not a runner, and wont bike as it is too dangerous.

I haven't tried to swim since before the pandemic. I crashed my bike several months ago and am not allowed to ride anymore... I can run but won't run far before I'm out of breath.

Did you get to watch the athletes? I admire those who can do these triathlons . . . I think I could only pick one sport and barely make it out with that one
. Of the three, I would pick only biking . . . I don't swim or run well
.

That is some piece of luggage. Yes, that is awesome that the runners were able to do this, especially in the upper age category.

I used to swim but gave up as one fine day I got chocked and I still do not know how it happened.
Were you also watching the athletes go past you perhaps with water bottles just in case?

I can, but I would not want to do them all in a row like that.

Great luggage, It sounds exciting. I can't swim well, I can bike but haven't in ages, and I no longer can run due to a bad knee,

Terrible swimmer, like biking but just for fun, and I've done 5 mile runs before and they were draining. So, an ironman I am not, lol.
I do know friends who have run marathons before and done 50-mile bike rides. People who do these events are impressive
