Grateful For Today

Right now, I am extremely grateful for the fact that the hydro came back
in less than one hour.
Outside it looked like we were having a snow storm and very windy, scary to me.
It was pretty boring without electricity for that time.
Funny how we take things for granted when we have them.
By the way, I just paid the electricity bill that came in this afternoon.

I am on my job right now and i hope the weather stays like this because i work outdoor
Anyway, your post reminded me to pay my hydro bill thanks.

I know, we are so dependent on our electronics it is hard to cope without them. Glad it came back

I'm glad everything for you is back to normal now.
Pretty and I just spent over a day with no internet again... Apparently, the main cable was cut somewhere around New York and it took a repairman until a few minutes ago to get everyone hooked back up correctly... Even the internet for my phone stopped working. It was bizarre.

I'm glad it was less than an hour. We now have a standby generator that comes on when the power goes out. We spent 3 days without power in a very cold winter. I don't want to go through that again. We had 5 days without heat in the winter; but that was because there was water in the furnace which damaged some parts.

I know how it feels not to have electrical power and other items inside of the home after a major storm comes to my neighborhood.
