Happy Thursday Everyone! it's a nice sunny morning here today and I'm enjoying my coffee and myLotting for awhile.
My son is supposed to come today to paint the bathroom but he has a call first for someone who has no hot water. Some poor person not having hot water is definitely more of a priority than our bathroom. I remember a few weeks ago when our hot water tank needed to be replaced and how hard it was not having hot water for a few days.
If he gets held up doing the hot water job I suppose we'll have to reschedule the painting. At least that's all that needs to be done and the bathroom is all finished otherwise.
Yesterday I sent a follow up to my HOA regarding the thorny bush by my front porch. It's a nuisance and grows out over the sidewalk and constantly snags people as they walk up or down the sidewalk. I didn't get a response to my first email and so far nothing yesterday with my follow up. The guys are already here doing the spring clean up and I'm hoping they can remove this bush. We have a new property manager who doesn't seem to be as efficient as the last person was.
Tomorrow my daughter has to get her tooth extracted and I feel so bad that she had to wait so long for the appointment. She's been in pain for days and I'm just hoping this will be the end of her dental issues. She had to postpone her physical therapy for two weeks now while she deals with her teeth.
That about sums up what's going on here.

Well, just finished setting up an appointment to get my car looked at tomorrow. I need a brake job..but also my car for the weekend. Tomorrow is just to get the estimate. On the plus side, I am getting a fairly large check for a mystery shop that I wasn't sure I was going to get so that will help. Good luck with the bush and your daughter's tooth.

You have to get permission before the bush can be removed? I don't think I'd like that. We have a small-ish tree that we don't like growing in our front yard. We cut it down last year but it came back... I'll try cutting it down again pretty soon and we'll see what we can do to keep it from coming back this time.

@Marilynda1225 Oh, I see... When we were in a HOA, I never had to have anything done so didn't know that.
I understood that. I worked for several years in a brother's construction company.

Wel, I can remove the bush and plant a new one myself but I'd also have to pay for it. If the HOA removes the bush they absorb the cost and also the gardening aspect of it too. I'd much rather they come and do it so I don't have to pay someone else.
The bathroom is coming along. My son came, primed the walls and will be back to actually paint. It's been an ongoing process but he has to squeeze us in between his paying jobs.

Not much going on here today. I have some work to do, but not too busy. Good to know that your daughter's dental issues will be fixed tomorrow.

So far they haven't responded to my inquiry about the bush.

Yes, getting someone's hot water heater working is more important than your paint job. I know he'll get your bathroom painted.
I'm glad your daughter will get her tooth extracted tomorrow. I hope HOA takes care of that thorny bush.
It's a quiet day today. I haven't walked yet, I'm currently charging my phone and then I'll walk. There's also Canasta at noon. I have such an overwhelming life I just don't know how to handle it all.

Replacing the hot water heater is expensive so my son just did a patch job for the lady and she's going to decide what to do. He got here around noon, primed the walls in the bathroom and had to leave for another job. He'll be back to paint but at least the whole bathroom is finished so painting is just the finishing touch.
I'm hoping that my daughters tooth extraction goes smoothly. She has to go to an oral surgeon so that's what took so long for the appointment.

@Marilynda1225 I hope the patch job lasts a while. I know they can be expensive, but patches aren't supposed to fix the problem.
I'm glad your bathroom is finished. Now the priming is too. Soon you will have the painting done too.

My Thursday was different. I had to handle a situation that took most of my shift but I spoke up and said what I needed to say.
