I went out to dinner in Berkeley with a friend last night. On my way to where we met, I snapped a photo of these drought-resistant flowers behind a wrought iron fence. A Very Berkeley Front Lawn. My intent was to edit them down, enhance them with my editing program, and come up with a cool photo, perhaps with darkened edges.
For some reason, my internet was working in Berkeley, but it still is not in the suburbs where I live. Perhaps @DaddyEvil will scratch his chin and help me figure out what is going on.
In any case, I was able to send the photo to myself, but for whatever reason, I cannot edit it. I will post it as is for now. I still have the photo on my cell phone, and on my desktop. I will make further efforts to edit it and make it purdier.
I'll write about my dinner with a friend in a separate post.

Sometimes, scratching my chin helps me think about solutions to phone problems.

@DaddyEvil I am glad to hear that. Same here, of course.

Hmmm...it seems like little green men have it in for @TheHorse and are trying to drive you crazy with internet glitches.

As you know, I am a Trump supporter and conspiracy theorist. I discovered that Kitty is in cahoots with the local raccoons more than a year ago. I now believe that my gremlins are providing information to the little green men.

@TheHorse Well, now, that's a fine mess you and Kitty have gotten into. There are enough characters there to write a serial. Be careful talking in your sleep.

I could deal with a lawn like that.

Technology can be like that sometimes, it's something we're thankful for. Photo seems cool as is though.

@TheHorse Depends on if it's from the same carrier or what not. Many things could've caused the issue.

I like your photo the way it is. Those look like a type of trumpet plant but I'm not familiar enough with them to identify them for sure...
Your phone used to get internet at your house, right? You didn't have to go outside to get a good signal? Have you switched your Sim card yet? (The internet on my phone came back as soon as we switched out the Sim card in it.)

@TheHorse Oh, I see... I'm sorry, pony. I would help you with that but I'd need to be there so I could see your phone and help you switch over.
I did tell you that we switched mine out yesterday, didn't I? It took about half an hour with the help of the phone company I use.
