One should not inhale capsaicin cream

So do not inhale your arthritis gel if it has this ingredient. In fact I wonder who would have ever wanted to, it burns. It is made from red pepper oil.
When I read a warning like this, I ask myself "Who would want to?" or "Who did this and made the warning necessary?" You know someone must have tried it. That is why the medicine website states that it can cause respiratory problems. Maybe it was like the Tide pod challenge.
I can see it happening that you could laugh, cough or sneeze and get salsa up your nose, which would be a similar effect. I do not think hot spicy things in your nose is a preferred situation.
I use this product a lot, and it burns my eyes if I rub them with some of it on my hands.
Certain warnings I have seen over the years have made me wonder--ear drops that say "do not take internally". High chairs that are labeled "not to be used upside down". There must be a reason we silly humans must have those warnings on our everyday items.
I have heard about the laundry tag on kids' clothes that say "remove child before washing" but I admit I have not seen that one.

My eye drops say don't take internally, can cause diarrhea.
I always wonder who was dumb enough to use meds wrong...

I have seen funny stories about many different routes of medication, but it is no joke, really. People sometimes assume that eye drops, and ear drops work from the inside out--not sure why.

@DaddyEvil Did you ever tell him you spiked the brownies?

@GardenGerty I used a few eye drops in brownies once to catch someone who was stealing lunches at work. It gave him diarrhea and he never stole lunches while I still worked there.
We saw and visited with him a couple of months ago. I was happy to see him. It had been years since I last talked with him.

And yet it is sad to think people have done some of those things. I enjoy the laugh.

I believe in some restaurants those little four sided "high chairs" that scoot to the table are used by people with tiny babies in carriers, by turning them upside down and putting the carrier on top. Not safe, so they warn them.

@shaggin I think it depends on the restaurant and the type of carrier you have.

Yep. I just snort my flonase or my nasal saline spray. A good whiff of perfume is lovely as well.

Don't eat capsaicin cream either. And wash your hands thoroughly several times with soap and water before going near your hoohah.

Anytime I have used any rubs that say to wash hands carefully before touching eyes I always have washed my hands at least three times before I even try and then if I don't have to touch my eyes I just don't . I believe there are kids and teenagers that do strange things and that is why there are warnings.

Even some adults do strange things. People do not read labels, etc. With pepper based creams and gels, soap and water has no effect. Oil based products will remove them. So for them you can use cooking oil, or moisturizing cream. Wipe it off THEN use soap and water.

See, you are like me. If you don't know, you look it up. There was a cinnamon challenge as well. Also not healthy.

It's like the little oxygen absorber packet that comes in a box of shoes that's labeled "DO NOT EAT". You know someone did it once before and that's why it's labeled!

"Mikey will eat it, he eats anything!" Those packets have some good uses, but none of them are as food or seasoning.

Young people have tried everything imaginable to get high; and some people don't use common sense when it comes to how a product should be used.

Many times I've seen bags of nuts with the warning 'may contain nuts' (well I should hope so!)
Another favourite is 'do not iron on body' on clothes labels.
