Good morning, friends. More debris in space.

Today news started showing here what they called garbage from the space. But it was not that the space has garbage to throw. As usual, we placed several "things" in the space (before most of us were even aware of it) and when they were not needed any longer, they kept on circling around our planet. The debris circles for some time until they fall again. Even stations in the space are becoming or will become garbage with the passing of time. All this was in the news here today because 2 such things were cught with cameras in my country and in Spain. When they enter the atmosphere, they burn and people took pictures of the light. It has happened many times and now we know that it is not the little green men from Mars but the dirty men from Earth. Friends, we have pollution everywhere. Many times I have heard that probably Russian Laika was not by far the first animal sent to space. At the Wikipedia it is written that Laika was the first animal that died in the space. But who knows! Who knows how many Laikas and how many human beings have died in the quest for more and more power. And did I read well that Musk is "selling tickets" for a trip to space? And that people are buying them? What do you think of this?

We are always discovering new ways in which people are stupid. It is endless.

@LadyDuck I learnt that a long time ago. Even ants are more intelligent than us.

@marguicha I start to believe that humans are not the most intelligent animals on earth.

I wouldn't bother buying a ticket to go into space. Maybe when more have gone and it seems a bit safer.

@marguicha I know the feeling. I wouldn't really want to buy a ticket.

It doesn't surprise me that Musk is selling tickets for a trip to space. People with a lot of money will buy them and get a trip of a lifetime. I prefer to stay here on the ground.

I have to agree with Anna. It never seizes to amaze me just how idiotic people can be. Poor Laika. Yes, I know Musk is selling tickets. I must say that one of the reasons I want to live longer is to witness when they begin to colonize other planets.

I've wanted to go to space since I was a young girl. If it was worth it and I could afford it, I would consider buying a ticket to space. However, the trip would need to last more than a few hours. I've heard about our space debris.
