Under Pressure

I have learned something about myself, well, I kinda/sorta knew but I didn't think anyone else knew. I'm good under pressure. One of my cashiers, that also moved up at the store, said " oh, your the boss now?" And I replied " yes." Then she said " congratulations, I know you're good under pressure." With that being said by a 17 year old, I had hoped she will also be good under pressure, because I remember the first time she was alone on a register, she cried when she made a mistake. I reassured her that it was okay and that she was doing a great job. I watch her now and I can see her confidence growing more and more each day. I had heard that she had a rough life at home, from people that seen her grow up and not from anyone at work, , I want her to know that she does a great job at work and that everyone makes mistakes, even the boss no matter how much experience they have. Today I have to address a situation that was seen on camera, this young man needs to talk to me about why he did what he did. I'm going all in with this kid. I was disappointed, he had been one I trusted to do right. So I will have to tell him about a wrong I did to get through to him. Wish me luck! I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
