Actually it is a little after five o'clock here. I am sleepy, but that could be because of the weather rolling in. We have a chance at bad storms, or it may miss us. I went to my eye doctor and got to play around on the silly machines, about five of them, I think. No vision loss since I was here last. No sign of macular degeneration. No cataracts. Due to high interocular pressure I am considered at risk for glaucoma, but my pressures have not changed in the 8.5 years I have come here. I got some things at Wal Mart, and at Dillons. And I got a nap in the car. We shall work on leftovers tonight. Jane and I will go for coffee tomorrow. It is all in a day's work, I suppose.

That's good news about the optician/optomestrist/whatever. These professionals sometimes specialise in tiny areas nowadays, don't they?

Opticians can only dispense glasses from prescriptions written either by an optometrist or ophthalmologist. Optometrist can prescribe, and check eye health. Opthamologist can do eye surgery. Having dealth with them for over 60 years I had to give up and learn the difference. It is good news from Dr. Walters. I like him. He talks to me as if I am a person with a brain in my head, as well as eyes.

@GardenGerty I do. I have macular degeneration but it isn’t progressing right now unless I get bad news when I see my doctor.

Glad that your eyesight hasn't changed. My left eye was very itchy this morning and I had to take an antihistamine. I had a couple naps today, too... just feeling lazy, I guess.

I guess I should say that I do have prescription lenses, but it is good my eyes are not getting worse and I do not have any disease in them.

I'm glad you don't have glaucoma. I have to use drops every day to control mine. I had my cataracts out a couple of years ago. Hope you and Jane had a good time.
