The collage shows a series of snaps taken in Ballina, Ireland, over the time of Joe Biden’s visit. Doesn’t that baby just look the cutest with her sunglasses and dummy? Top right shows Vince and our great nephew at the gateway into our lane. They are in the lane about to open a personnel gate to go into the street. Lower left shows Hector and I. Hector was busy doing some work in a different part of town when we walked past. And lower right shows a young lass who was waiting in the queue to see Joe Biden. I’m sure she’ll have some great memories of his visit. She will be old enough to remember it.

What on the baby is called a dummy? I don’t think that’s a term we use here for anything I see in that photo of her. I love the face painting on the young girl and her hair. So sweet she got all decked out like that!

Hector is a volunteer who has been doing a lot of work painting and cleaning the streets before Biden's visit. He also put up our flag for us.

To us, it is really cold but everyone has their big coats on. I felt sorry for those in the queue when it started to rain.

Is the dummy the pacifier? I hadn't heard that term before for anything other than a dummy - body other than a mannequin. Great pictures.

Our front door is down the laneway which also leads to Joe Biden's ancestral home. The gate wasn't often shut and there was a personnel door. Maybe they just didn't want cars going down there.
