1 Meter Pizza From Morrisons

One weekend Andre saw a sign at Morrisons' kitchen that says "Pizza by the metre". We knew we couldn't finish it in one sitting but we really wanted to see and try it. To our disappointment it was serve cut in separate boxes instead of one long pizza. It was pretty decent taste wise and we managed to finish all of it after 3 days. We did not waste any food but we do not think we are buying as much next time.

Near Napoli (Vico Equense) there is a place called "Pizza 'a metro" the longest they serve is 3 meters. We went with friends when we were there during a summer. Delicious pizza.

@flapiz I think to remember we ordered 1 meter and half and it was already A LOT, even if we were quite a large group of people.

I'm glad the two of you were able to eat all the pizza. Sometimes it takes me several days to eat one pizza by myself. (I LOVE the all meat pizzas but Pretty doesn't like it, so I put two slices in each Ziploc baggie and stick them in the fridge until I work my way through all of it.) Poor Andre does look disappointed and hungry.

@flapiz When I read the title, that's what I was hoping to see too. A meter long pizza. I can understand the disappointment. I'm sorry it wasn't what you thought.

Yeah I was expecting it to be a metre long not boxes that adds up to a metre. But then it would've been a nightmare to take home.

It was for 17£ if I remember it right. It does look longer.

I guess it would be pretty hard to have one box for a metre-long pizza. So you and Andrea ate about a foot each day. Yay for you!!
