A knob, a vase, wallpaper and two lions from Kylemore Abbey, Connemara, Ireland

The photo shows a collage from Kylemore Abbey in Galway, Ireland. I’ll write more about the abbey later. Top left shows a lovely painted jug. It has sheep on it although you can’t see them too well. Top right is one of the knobs. It’s a pity it’s a fuzzy photo but I really like these knobs. Lower left is a sample of the wallpaper that was in one of the huge rooms and lower right are two lions which were in front of a fireplace. There were identical ones the other side.

@Ronrybs Probably not cheap at all. So I won't swap mine which means I'll save some money.

These were very pretty. I was quite taken with them and had an idle thought about swapping ours in the house but of course ours are designed to be practical and easily opened with an elbow if need be.

I have a cabinet knob like that, that I used on my last freerange kettle... I overboiled it and when I lifted the lid, the plastic knob came right off. Now I have an electric kettle with automatic shutoff.
