And there it was

A friend gave me a stack of books, and I've been working my way through them. Yesterday, I started on The Lost Garden by Helen Humphreys, and it began to sound familiar. I said to myself, "I know I've read this before."
I looked through all my bookcases and couldn't find it. But I know I've read it and it doesn't seem to be a book I would discard any time soon. I kept looking and looking and finally it popped up on top of my History of Art row of books. I have no idea how it got there.
So now I have two copies of this book, both first editions; one in paperback and one in hardcover. Do I keep them both?
Sometimes, we amaze ourselves by finding something we're looking for in the weirdest places.

They're both in great condition and about the same size.

All of our books got moved out to plastic totes in our garage when we moved into this house and I switched to ebooks. We just don't have room for them in the house.
I'm glad you found your other copy of that book... I'd keep both copies.

@DaddyEvil But why would I give them to you to keep in a leaky garage?

@BarBaraPrz Yes. The garage leaks and I don't want my books damaged.

I like to let some time go between re-readings of any book.
