A Yellow Flowering Bush Beside the Front Door

I was happy to view this pretty, flowering bush right by the front door. Only one week ago, we still had snow piled along the driveway. We didn't get a lot this winter, though.
I'm not a person who toils and religiously weeds the flower beds. But, I do appreciate the lovely flowers, that come up each spring. I love seeing flowers!
I don't know what kind of bush this is, if anyone knows you could let me know, OK? Thanks! The blossoms are kind of star shaped, trumpets.
There are a few flowers that I recognize right away, snap dragons, geraniums, mums, roses, peonies, violets and lilies. We had beautiful tiger lilies that Mom planted many years ago, at the other house we lived in.
For some reason, the peonies didn't come up every year. I'm not sure why this happened. All flowers need water, so I would definitely make sure they got enough moisture.
Jay would spray them with rotten eggs, to keep deer from eating the flowers.

My mother was very knowledgeable with flowers, also. Now that she's gone, I don't have anyone nearby to ask about this flowering bush:)

The Forsythia is very common around here. Other yards have a bush similar to this one:)

And throughout the years, it will probably spread and get fuller.

Even as cold as it got this week (low 30s), these flowers are still pretty and doing good!

@kobesbuddy they're probably saying "I don't care how chilly it gets, it's spring and I'm going to bloom"

Yes, it's lovely and it seems to keep its flowers for a long time.
