Greek myths on TV. I love them. / myLot

I m watching now one of the many myths of the ancient Greeks. I didn´t know that Icarus had built the wings to get away from the labyrinth. I have read those myths since I was a child and I can understand why the Romans acquired all the Greek gods and changing names made them theirs. Now it is time to go and work again. But these these stories make my day.

Oddly, what I know about Greek mythology is 50% informed by television, and 50% by my college education. I firmly believe I enjoyed the television portion far more.

Television has people who know how to tell stories. What I saw today included a lot of antique vases and maps of the places.

I also enjoy Greek myths they are very interesting and can be entertaining when seen in documentaries.

I only read about the Odyssey among Greek mythology, by Homer. I am interested in these tales. The Sumerians/Mesopotamians influenced the Greek mythology on the other hand.
