Shoe Mishap.

This is so funny and embarrassing to tell. Last Saturday was the confirmation of my son. We prepare and went to church. While at the church, I discovered that the upper of my shoes had a cracked and split up that reached almost half of the uppers. And the confirmation had not started yet. The last time I used the shoes, I did not see any problem. I cannot go back home as it will take a while. The nearest convenience store which I doubt if they have shoes or sandals for sale will be at least 20 minutes. Good thing my hubby saw a very small community store. But they do not even sell any tape (masking, packaging, duct or scotch tapes). But my hubby saw a big transparent band aid. What a relief because it is not the usual color and size of band aid you can buy in a small store. The band aid was like 4 times bigger than the regular ones. That big transparent bad aid was my savior for that day. I put one on top as you can see and I put one under. It saved me. Anyway, I bought that sandals online and it was my first time buying shoes. I used it maybe 3-4 times because I seldom use sandals. So never again for me.

I am glad you could fix those sandals for the ceremony. They did not last very long, this is a shame.

So true, it was my lifesaver. I do not know what will the split will cut the upper into and I will not be able to walk without dragging my shoes
