Luna dines and I plan.

I can hear Luna crunching her pellets. Today she did not have any snacks.
Marco came with María after lunch. He put me the ceiling lamps in the kitchen and then went up to check the problem in the bathroom.
According to the gasfitter who had come earlier and who planned to charge lots of money he was sure that what Marco would do would not fix it. Tomorrow I´ll go to the meter to see if it is still running or if it stopped.
I think that the gasfitter was charging me too much because as soon as I told him that Marco had told me not to change everything if I was going to sell the house he said that the price he has said before could be changed.
Marco came with María and we had a lovely evening. But I did not go to the post office to take the letter to the alarm company. It has to be certified.
So I am going tomorrow morning. And if I feel ready to walk, I can walk to the Chinese restaurant and buy something to bring home. Perhaps a sweet and sour chicken or pork.

If the gasfitter offered to charge you a cheaper price, then I guarantee he was planning on charging you too much!
I'm glad Marco and Maria enjoyed dinner with you today.
Be careful walking anywhere. Don't get too tired on the walk.

That´s what I thought. The gasfitter was too eager to lower the price immediatly. Marco said the had cut off the faucet (I have 2 toilettes I don´t use upstairs) and did some magic passes so that the water would not start to run again.
As for the walk, it is only a couple of long blocks. I wish I hadn´t returned the cane that Dixie once lent me.

@DaddyEvil I´ll check the garden for a cane. As fpr Marco, every time he helps me out, he looks around to do everything with what I have.

@marguicha I'm sure Marco did the correct thing by cutting off the water. I hope that solves the problem since you don't use those bathrooms upstairs.
You can always use a stick from a tree in your garden as a cane if you need one. (I picked up one of the branches that had broken off in the Winter storms here to use as a cane. It works very well.)

@LadyDuck I know. Yesterday I received an appraisal for the kitchen. I´ll talk about it with Marco too. Anita´s brother called me yesterday and I also think it is too expensive.

Plumbers, electricians, etc. always charge too much. If the gasfitter was willing to drop his price, then he was planning on charging you too much. I'm glad you had a good time with Marco and Maria. Chinese food sounds so good. Don't overdo and walk too much.
