I´ll have my suitcase ready. / myLot

So many things have changed since I thought I´d go to María´s house last week that I won´t make any more plans now. But ever since I live alone, when I´m going to any place, I start gathering clothes to fill my suitcase in the living room. I have a place for pills, a place for underwear, a place for shoes. You name it. But a couple of days ago, when I had everything on the living room furniture, María came to visit. I was only expecting Marco who would do some work and I didn´t care. But I was very ashamed of this all. So now I´m filling the suitcases no matter when I finally go. I´ll take 2 suitcases because I talked with María and will take a couple of my most comfy pillows. Do you fill your suicases in minutes or does it take you a long time to do so?

When I packed for Pretty and I to go on vacations, it took about half an hour to pack the two duffel bags with the clothing and personal items we'd each need for the trip and our stay. (I always started with medications we'd need, then small clothes and shoes with outer clothes on top. A smaller bag was packed with toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs and other care items.)

It took me less before but now I have to make room for my laptop and the chargers for the laptop and the cellphone. When I go to Aruba it is easy as I yake few and light clothes. But this could be cold.

@marguicha We each have packs specifically for laptops and tablets. When Pretty and I went on vacation, we had a desktop computer and I carried a bag phone. Do you remember those?

We went on vacations all over the US, so depending on our destination, we had Summer clothes or Winter clothes with us.

Why are you ashamed? Don't be..to hell with all of them and what they think. You have your way of doing things and your routine for you and that is good.
