Happy Monday morning from this side of the planet . It's 10:30 AM here and the sun is out. It's a pleasant weather here. We finally got good rain on Saturday and Sunday evening.. It was much awaited. It has brought some relief from the rising mercury . Today's weather is pleasant like our city's weather is supposed to be A new werk begins. I hope you all had the weekend as you wanted it to be. And wishing everyone a wonderful and productive week ahead I had a perfect weekend. Could be lazy and spend some good time with family, visited one friend's house that was due for long for Sunday evening high end tea.. Will make a different post about that later as I found something interesting to discuss there. Yesterday, first half of the day was productive with gardening. My gardener ( whom I call on need basis) is out of station. But on request he sent his nephew to help me. A lot was done with two of us working together. He was new to my garden and needed a lot of supervision. Finally, a few pots were changed ( too old and had cracks), some fancy pots were made ready for indoor plants, seeds of veggies like ladies finger, spinach, tomato, green chillies, coriander and brinjal were planted, neem oil was sprayed ( I saw some ants on my hibiscus and rose plants) and we added compost to all the pots. It took 30 kilos of compost for my whole garden. I was too tired by afternoon and then we went to our friend. By the time we returned home, heavy rain came. Glad that we were not caught in ths heavy rain. I was too tired by the end of the day and couldn't stay awake after 9:30 in the night. Have started my day at 4:30 AM today. We went for an hour of walk today. My husband and I enjoyed the early morning refreshing walk in the pleasant weather . I wanted to post the picture of my pots with indoor plants. But the picture is not loading here( I have to bring down the size). So, I post here the picture of the produce from my garden yesterday. The last of the beans as they had started drying up and we needed to replace them. We had enough french beans and flat beans in the last three months. Even shared some with my friends Now, moving to read new posts here. Have a good time in your myLot corner

Your garden is keeping you busy but you are harvesting delicious vegetables that are not contaminated and safe to eat.

@arunima25 - Same as you, while I worked yesterday in the garden I was thinking that it's a hard job, but our home grown vegetables are so much better.

I totally agree there. It might be consuming my time and effort. But when I harvest the produce, I feel that all the time and effort was worth it.

Those are great vegetable products. They're fresh, free from pesticides and healthy to cook and eat. Your veggie garden is well managed. You would have much more to harvest later. Happy MyLotting too.

I am hoping that I get a good produce again. The seeds from previous years were over and I have got some new ones. I hope that turn out as good as the last one. All this consumes my time and effort. But I get so happy to see the produce and it seems that all the time and effort was worth it.

Last week was horrible with too much of heat. But then we are getting rain from this weekend and it comes every evening.. The weather is pleasant now, just as we expect the Bangalore weather to be Are you talking about the fire and smoke on Canadian side? I read it some where online about this fire and the smoke and pollution coming out of it.

@allknowing Yes, I tried Amazon during pandemic. It was a total waste. But few seeds of the lot that I got from Trustbasket were good. But they were too expensive. I prefer to get it from the organic bio centre near us

The weather is pleasant now with the regular rain visiting from Saturday. Before that it was unusually hot and didn't seem like Bangalore. Now, we just hope that it doesn't rain in excess to ruin everything. I got some new seeds as the previous stocks were over. I bought it from the same nursery. I hope that they are as good as the last stock. Keeping fingers crossed.

@Marilynda1225 I totally agree. Well, I am not able to grow enough to meet all the veggies requirements and need to buy from stores too. Prices are rising everywhere. But at least, I have a constant supply of green leafy vegetables, tomato, beans, brinjal, radish etc. I don't buy them from store.

Yes, it has made the weather pleasant, how we expect Bangalore to be...cool and pleasant throughout the day. Rain is coming every evening from Saturday and we get some good shower for couple of hours. We just hope that now we don't get excess rain and flooding like the last two years. I am glad that I called a help. With two of us doing it together, I got it done in almost four hours. It would have been too much for me alone.

@sathviksouvik Many dishes need that garnishing with dhaniya patti. Not only it adds flavour to the dish, even plating of dishes look incomplete without it.

And then all the time and effort that goes into gardening seems worth There was a lot to be done in the garden and glad that I got the help. Together we worked for around four hours. It would have been too exhaustive and overwhelming if I did it alone.
