Leaders, politicians, don't usually give what they promise like the whole of this week, prices of different products have been sky rocketing, until people I have decided to live without some of the house hold items. At the beginning of the year, the prices of many products started increasing there value from no where, this has made a lot of residents in my country very angry. since they don't really have the power to do any thing, some have started giving up on using some products , I don't really know if it is only here or the same is happening in other countries

It's happening in all countries. The cost of goods -- food, construction, everything -- is going up so high.

Prices here are rising too and my problem is that I can only order groceries once a month. There are not supermarkets near where I live and with the rise of prices it would have been easier for me to buy food one week at a time and see what is on sale but I do not have this opportunity,

I believe that different from being the solution, politicians are the problem, specifically in my country (Brazil), the problem is corruption, and the number of politicians reaches thousands, they are bloodsuckers of the nation, they do not produce anything and transform that that generates wealth in tribute slave. about taxing everything to generate money to support the fat salaries of politicians and their friends. with all this it is expensive, for example a car that you pay 20 thousand in america, here it is 50 thousand, the theft is in everything, light, water, food etc. And don't expect any politician to cut your earnings for you to buy cheaper food, they don't care about you, we're just a number on a paper.

It’s been happening here in the US for at least 2 years. I’ve gone without certain things for weeks and months when prices of those items got to high like a dozen eggs for over $5.

Well due to immense looting here in the retailers, they are raising their prices to pass it on to the consumer.

Food prices are going up in all the countries, the main reason is the Russia/Ukraine war and the sanctions we imposed to Russia.

@thebos Politicians support the big companies and its their interest to keep the prices high.

Inflation is happening in all countries of the world. This is why the rich are getting wealthier. While the middle-class and the poor are forfeiting money. Greed!

Yes, prices have increased everywhere, I think. Some and now the continuing cause of inflation in the USA is due to poor political decisions made by our country's leaders. When companies have to pay more in overhead like employee wages, transportation costs and other expenses, they eventually need to pass on the cost to us to remain profitable.

I am not familiar with prices in Kenya compared to the US, other than what I read. I am so sorry everyone is struggling so much there. It is hard right now for many of us, a dollar certainly does not buy much. I am as frugal as I know how to be, and waste nothing I don't have to. It's all I know to do right now. I am sorry you are having such a hard time.
