What’s for lunch? 5.25.2023

We’re still recovering from the last week of trips. So we decided we were just going to hang out at the house. I am working on a couple articles and do some housework.
Food delivery other than pizza is still a relatively new thing to DeFuniak Springs. So the fact that we can order from Door Dash and Waitr/ASAP is still kind of exciting.
We had pizza the day before yesterday and Whataburger yesterday which are our usual go to places. So I decided to order KFC. The right piece chicken meal with mashed potatoes and gravy and Mac and cheese. We also got a half gallon of sweet tea.
It’s a little more money then I wanted to spend but I used a coupon code for thirty percent off, which made it a little cheaper.
It will probably end up being dinner too.
So that’s what’s going on here.

It’s a little more expensive than I would like but I try to use coupon codes and stuff.

@AmbiePam you should check. I have a fifteen dollar credit for them from when we were in Texas and I can’t use it because we don’t have ther delivery service available here.
I’d be more than happy to pass it on to someone who could use it.

I went to Chuy’s for chicken taco salad. I’m changing things up, trying new dressings. Loved the cilantro vinaigrette!

Oh I forgot to tell you, there’s like two chuys in Houston we passed on the way home if we weren’t so eager to come home we would do stopped. But maybe I’ll save that up for when you visit.

I still don't really use DoorDash or any of the other services. But our options have increased a wee bit. Right now for delivery it's pizza, Chinese, Jimmy John's or Chick-fil-A. We don't eat out much anyway so it still works for us.
For lunch and just had some leftover macaroni and cheese and chicken parmigiana.

I don’t like jimmy johns. Lol we have two subways in town. But if we’re doing subs and have the gas and money we go a town over and go to firehouse. Way better.

@thislittlepennyearns I am with you on the Jimmy John's thing. I ONLY order it when I want it delivered. Other than that, I prefer Subway. I have never been to a Firehouse.
