I normally prefer unblended tea and these days it is Goodricke roasted tea bags. If ever I wish a blend then it will be adding a touch of lemon grass. We had a bush of lemon grass and I used to put a fresh leaf in the tea while the water was boiling I am planning on buying a plant as many Sites are selling them online Lemon grass has a pleasant flavour and although it has several health properties for me it was always the flavour than getting its health benefits. Do you like pure or blended tea?

I do not drink tea or coffee at all. Lemon grass will drive the ants away.

@allknowing You have to chop it up and put it where the ants are.

I don’t really drink tea, and the last time I did it was a blended, cold tea.

I have not had tea in a long time but I do want to grow lemon grass, it is healthy for me but not for Tuffy so I will have to be careful where I put it.

There are many plants that are dangerous to cats but I think many cats that live outdoors know to stay away from them. Tuffy stays in the house mostly so he will nibble on whatever greens I grow.

We had a careless gardener who was famous for destroying so many of our plants

@LadyDuck We had a yielding passion fruit vine. He deep pruned it and killed it. There are more

@allknowing - When we did not live here all the year round and hired a gardener, he destroyed many of my plants.

That is a good blend

@allknowing yes actually Darjeeling tea is a good variety of tea. If people are taking these varieties already the dust and the leaves are mixed there.

@allknowing Yes, I do. They are in a big pot, in my balcony. I don't have any yard to grow plants.

I like any tea, but I mostly drink pure green tea. I love eating foods with lemon grass in it . . . I'm not sure if I'd had it with tea. I have grown lemon grass in water jars and big pots from the excess I used for cooking . . . it grows pretty easily (I want to grow some in the ground eventually).
