Hello guys, good morning. Today I will discussing about "What is your definition of rich?" The question from @MrDenata prompted me to write about this. I answered his question with "Rich bussy everyday, everywhere, and everything" of course I was joking. LOL Okay, I'm sure everyone has a different definition, some describe wealth with luxury, owning a luxury car, luxurious house, luxurious appearance/clothing, etc. I don't agree with this opinion, because he could have bought all of that on credit, who knows? The definition of rich in my opinion is when someone has reached the point of financial freedom, when money is no longer a problem for him. He likes to help people who are in trouble, without weighing things down. He has many investments, especially afterlife investments in charities. He kept it simple, and did not flaunt his wealth. He was content with what he had, even though it was not called much by others. etc. How about you?

I think if someone has a nice home and new car paid for, their children’s education assured , no debt, good paying jobs and a retirement account paid up , in good health, and at least three million dollars in savings . I would consider them rich.

When I think rich I think of more than just money. I certainly think of having enough money to cover all of your bills, with no debt, and being able to give to someone in need if the case arises, with no negative financial consequences. I also consider if they have at least a few good friends who care about them, or any family that loves them, without asking them for any money. That is what rich is to me. I'm content with what I have though. I have a lot of love if not a lot of dollars.

@May2k8 Of course I can do it. I never expect anything in return from the people I help, not even a simple "Thank you" That's how I keep myself from feeling disappointed.

for me, health is also a wealth that is owned by humans. Imagine if we have a lot of money, but can't enjoy it because of the disease we suffer. Money is important, but health is also important! So, don't forget to take care of your health always.

To have an idea about wealth, you don't have to wait for you to be rich. Look at the rich people around you. LOL

Rich is not having lots of money. Rich is having what you need and being happy with what you have. Having a good relationship with your family and friends.

If it's bought "on credit" that means that those people are not reach, only showing off. Being rich means having a great deal of money and assets. Being financially independent. Being able to afford to buy everything you dream to buy.

@astutimeliana723 Finally, you are rich when your employees take care to pay your bills and to manage your finances, you only have to enjoy life.

I would think that someone who is rich is well-off financially and doesn't have to worry about paying their bills. Also, someone who is rich is probably someone who is good with managing their finances and doesn't just throw away money left and right.

@astutimeliana723 Life's more interesting when you can afford a lot of things. And I don't necessarily mean material things. I am talking about doing interesting things that require money if you wanna do them. Going to shows. Traveling. Dining out. Taking cooking classes. Etc.

@lovebuglena Yes, even just enjoying your favorite food is very happy, isn't it? Happiness doesn't have to be expensive, as long as we want to be grateful for what we have.

In India people who are rich first buy for themselves luxury houses, cars, and what not. They contribute to charity only to save their taxes.

A rich person is someone who lives comfortably with no worries about money, it is someone that has enough income to cover their needs, no matter the type of needs.

For me rich is when you don't really have to think about spending money. Never asking yourself the question, 'should I really be spending my money on this'?
