I never saw anyone do it but in the early 1970s many young people began disrobing then running through areas like crowded streets or supermarkets. Some news venues called it a fad but there are historical accounts of people doing such things as far back as the 11th century when it was said that Lady Godiva rode nude on horseback through the streets of Coventry. Ewwwww, that sounds awful doesn't it? Anybody remember Ray Stevens?

Way back when, before we moved to BC, we were sitting on the front porch one sultry summer evening when two boys ran nekkid down the street, nekkid except for the paper bags on their heads. They were maybe 10-12 yrs old.

One of my college friends went streaking. Some of the girls commented on his nice As... That streaker in the photo forgot to give up those socks and shoes. His umbrella makes a nice accessory!

I have the feeling that he didn't like letting his feet get cold nor did he want to get wet from rain.

The Dutch man is very proper with his hat, umbrella and socks and shoes. I remember Ray Stevens and The Streak.
