Utility workers in Colorado rescue a chihuahua stuck in a storm drain

Thanks to the teamwork of the Broomfield Police Department Animal Services Unit and the Broomfield Public Works and Utility Services who answered an emergency call for help that a Chihuahua whose gender was not mentioned got in trouble chasing a rabbit. The Chihuahua got stuck in a storm drain last Tuesday which required the animal services unit of the Broomfield Police Department to ask the utility employees to lift the heavy metal grate to get the dog out of the storm drain safely. The dog was not injured in the incident. The owner of the dog did thank both the animal service officers and the utility workers for rescuing his or her dog from a tragic encounter with a rabbit.
