What's for din?: 6.5.2023

I know it's late as heck, but we are just settling down for the night, so I figured I would share what we had for dinner. We had dinner pretty late anyway.
We had planned on going to Subway but we didn't make it there in time, so instead we went to McDonald's.
It was food. And that's about all I have to say about that.
I had the fried chicken sandwich with cheese and mayo. The chicken was old You could feel that it was old, and taste that it was old. But I was tired and ready to be home so I suffered through it and ate it. Or what I could of it.
She child got a double cheeseburger and fries.
Chris had a double quarter pounder and fries.
It was food like I said. But we are fed, and she child is in bed now. So I guess it wasn't a total loss.

Good 'ol McDonald's. You can always count on them to be perfectly mediocre. 
I had one of those healthy microwave dinners they freeze flash after cooking. It was salmon with carrots, and long string green beans with a garlic butter sauce. It was pretty amazing.

I like salmon. I like salmon a lot.
LOL I need to make some soon. The grocery store chain down here Winn Dixie does Salmon pin wheels or they used to and they are amazing.

Sometimes, late-night dinner plans don't go as expected, but it's good that you were able to find a meal at McDonald's and satisfy your hunger.

Tonight we are having rice, lentils, and tuna. Oh, it's been a while since we haven't been to Mcdonald's. I always get myself a happy meal just to obtain the toys. Actually, when my nieces visit me I give them the toy to play with.

We had homemade tacos. Well, son had tacos and I made myself a taco salad. He really loves tacos and I love salads, so it always works out for us when I make them. I just line up the stuff and we build our own. It was so good.

I love taco salad with chicken and slices of avocado--so delicious. Or a bit of guacamole on top, the same concept.
