I went on Facebook and saw this video that said: best way to make mac-n-cheese. I found it odd because before the video started playing what I saw was a toilet. As the video began the lady stuck a sponge into the hole to prevent stuff from going down. Then she actually put a whole bag of macaroni in there, along with two huge bricks of orange cheese and hot dog franks, and then proceeded to make mac-n-cheese inside the toilet. I had no desire to sit there and watch the whole thing. It’s disgusting. The caption should’ve been the worst way to make mac-n-cheese. I’ve seen a video recently of someone making it in the sink but this is much worse. What are people thinking?

It’s nothing more than an attention grab. People will do anything to get themselves in the limelight.

That is true. They will even put themselves in danger for it.

I think I saw this video having millions of views but I wasn’t paying attention to that so maybe that’s not it.

@lovebuglena I suppose they make money if they arrive to have many views and likes. I think it's stupid.

@LadyDuck I'd rather get likes for something good or perhaps funny instead of something stupid.

I've got to think the toilet mac n cheese was for shock value. I can't fathom anything else. Don't get me wrong, making something in the sink is gross too, and I saw someone the other day use the bathtub. I'd like to think everyone just wanted views, but at least the sink people won't be eating fecal matter.

Even if she sanitized the toilet before hand that’s still super gross. Now if I didn’t imagine it I think the video had millions of views.

I think I saw a similar video - but it was in the kitchen sink. But toilet? Nope nope nope! Totally gross!

@lovebuglena I hope she flushed it all down the toilet . . . it'd be really gross if she actually ate it .

@much2say she probably didn’t but I wouldn’t be surprised if she did.

"What can I post that will get people to engage with my account in some way?" That's the thought process. When I first read this I was thinking that it sounded like some of the shenanigans that Ms Yeah gets up to, but a lot of her videos are actually funny. She does "office cooking" videos where she cobbles together various office tools and uses them to cook things. This is just... blergh. Knowing it's just staged doesn't actually make it better. (If anyone's interested in Ms Yeah's videos, the link below is a pretty good example of the sort of things she does. No toilets involved! ) http://youtu.be/qxj8_sivYzU

They are now resorting to shock type of videos on social media sites to gain viewers, that's how they make their money. The best thing you can do is to not watch the stupid things. I do watch some, usually it's cooking videos, but cooking in a toilet bowl isn't happening here, and I am not going to give that person any pennies by watching.

This just popped up in my newsfeed and it started playing by itself. Not sure why fb thought I’d be interested in this.
