Still no news about the submarine.

Good morning, friends. I don´t really know why I always start my day watching the news. Today, one channel was talking about how much grocery prices had risen. I changed the channel. My salary does not go up and I still have to eat. In the other channel they were talking about the lost submarine, the one who had gone to look at the remains of the Titanic. I don´t understand people I don´t understand the many people that have died because they have jumped from a bridge tied to a rope but the rope was longer. Or the many that navigate in rivers that are not made to be there with a canoe. I can name lots of "sports" that seem to be part of a death wish. I never had one, not even when I was young. I never wanted to climb the Everest. I´m not even interested in surfing. Walking has been enough for me. How about you?

Driving or being a passenger in a vehicle is enough of a life-risk to me.

I agree. My best friend drives in a way that made one of her daughters give her a key chain that said something like "Don´t drive faster than how your guardian angel flies". She drives me everywhere often and I´m keeping my fingers crossed all the way although she drives well.

@DaddyEvil Dixie is also a very good driver. But she drives too fast and when she is driving, a demon takes hold of her. Usually she does not say any bad thing of anyone. But when she is driving, the rest of the people are foes.

@marguicha I generally drive five miles over the limit but like to think I'm a good driver. I've only had two accidents in the not-quite 45 years I've been driving. I hit a patch of black ice on a highway and destroyed a mail box when I was 18 and was driving slowly on ice when the car wouldn't stop for a stop sign. I slid across the empty street and into the railing on the other side.

They are hearing noises that are supposed to come from the submarine but still unable to locate it and they are running out of air.

They have been too long there. I hope the sounds mean something good.

I guess people like the thrill of “experiences”, although I’ve never had the desire to go in a tiny sub to see a wreck, or fly to space in a commercial rocket. I did once make plans to skydive, but the plan fell through. Maybe when people are rich like that they get the urge to feel like “conquering” something other than business.

I was just saying the same here. Maybe the very rich need experiences that are out of our reach of imagination. Now my adventures are mostly through TV. I lave lately been in safaries on TV channels

Since I am the only one child to my parents, so I try not to take a risk as I know how they feel worried about it. I try to take good care of myself. But some people still want to take adventure and perhaps this is because of different characters.

I guess not, because the submarine is fish proof.

I was listening to the reports a little while ago. They are hearing bangs every 30 minutes like a signal. There are some specialized ships joining the search. They have not located it and the oxygen will run out tomorrow. It will take a miracle but miracles do happen.

I know. I still cannot understand how those children were found alive in the jungle too.

@marguicha I think that they had natives from the area help in the search. I am glad they were found and will be okay.

I have watched rapids. I have watched bungy jumping but would never dare do anything like that

Walking is good for me. And when I was young, I liked to run if I was in a hurry.

I suppose the minds of the people that are too rich work different from ours. I am now very happy remodeling my kitchen while recycling some of what I have saved.

What bothers me is that on the Internet today they say banging like from inside a submarine has been heard yet, they cannot locate it, Seems something very strange there,

I know. It seems that with a sonar and so many new devices they should be able to locate it.

I can understand the wish to push boundaries. I used to be a keen scuba-diver (had to give it up for now as not a very family-friendly activity), I can fly a small plane, I rode motorbikes, I have been down caves and parachuted from a plane. Some people might think those are very risky activities but in fact safety is taken very seriously. But I wouldn't like to be shut up in a small can with no control over anything.

I'm not one to take risks with my life. I feel so sorry for the 5 men down in the sub. They will run out of oxygen this morning.

@marguicha Yes it would have been so fast that they wouldn't have even noticed.
