There are varieties in bread and each of us have our own choices
There is white bread, rye bread, whole wheat bread, multi grain bread, flat bread, sour dough bread, corn bread, banana bread.....
Mostly one relies on bakeries close by unless one makes their own bread. Our bakery has brown bread, white bread and sandwich bread I normally go for brown bread which is made form whole wheat bread
I have never attempted making bread myself but one day I hope to.
Do you buy bread or bake your own? What is your choice?

I don’t make my own bread, and the last time I bought bread had to be a year ago. I had bread in the form of a Reuben sandwich, but that was ordered from a restaurant. My favorite kind of bread is Asiago cheese bread, which is heaven to me.

When I was younger, I baked white bread rolls, cornbread and drop bread. I haven't made my own bread in about ten years now.
When I buy bread, I prefer potato bread loaves and Pretty prefers whole wheat bread.

@DaddyEvil We do not get potato flour here. That idea of grating the boiled potato into the white flour is good

@allknowing Potato bread and white bread are very similar. When I made it, I used potato flour and bleached wheat flower. 1/4 of the total amount of flour was potato flour. Mom used to boil a potato and grate it into the white bread mixture to make potato bread.

I love varieties in breads. Rye (without seeds) has been my favorite for years. I like sourdough, wheat berry, and potato breads, too. I made all of our breads for years and years...I still make some of it, but not all. But I will not pay $5-$6$7 for a loaf of bread, so if it's all steep, I make my own. Nothing smells or tastes better than fresh, warm bread. Yum.

I know how the house will smell when you bake your bread. We had a bakery close by and around noon we used to get that smell When I bake my favourite date and walnut cake it is the same story
You added wheat berry bread to my list of breads that I have read about
