Good Saturday morning!

It is markedly cooler in Kansas today. I know a high of 86 F may not sound cool, but it is cooler than the neighborhood of 100-104 F (40C)
I guess there was a little passing rain overnight.. Things are damp. Judging by things that traveled or tipped in my front yard, there was some hefty wind as well. We are "on top of the hill" in town, so I guess we get the brunt of it.
I had oatmeal for breakfast. Bob is up, but has to wait a half hour, take his blood pressure, then eat. His oatmeal is in the microwave waiting for him. I am glad we waited for today for our day out.
We will stop by the church as I am going to try to learn about how to help in the sound booth.
This is basically my first of the month check in. I probably will not be back until evening.
Later in the month I have a lot of appointments to go to, and then my brother and his wife will be coming up for a little visit for their anniversary.
That is what our month looks like going forward. I should finish my lessons on Monday.

We did not do as much as I had planned, but we were glad it was a little cooler. We had a rain storm just blow through around 6:30 p.m., and it was gone in about 15 minutes.

@GardenGerty We had a good downpour on Friday and Friday night, yesterday it was not too hot and this Sunday morning sounds good.

We did not do as much as planned and that is actually alright. I ate so much I could not bear the idea of walking around in Hobby Lobby. It is okay, as I came home and found I already had what I was wanting to buy. Saved some money that way.

The last few mornings I have gotten up at 75 or so, at 5:30 in the morning. I would like 68.

Nothing broke this time. Just a plant stand that I though was heavily weighted blew over. I have an asparagus fern in a tin bucket and it just slides right on out.
