I’ve never encountered a sea otter. I’m not sure if it would frighten me or not. It sounds like a real prankster.

Just another case of STUPID human tricks, it's highly likely the second otter was the mother seeking to protect her young. I'll never understand why people have to intrude on sensitive wild ecosystems.

I have seen them in pictures and they do look darn cute. I would not expect such behaviour from such cute creatures. The story made them look like pranksters for these surfers.

. If they behave like that with me, I would be really scared.
