It was tasty / myLot

Economical meals. Last night we had a home made chicken salad. I used the other half of that rotisserie chicken I got last Monday. I chopped an apple, halved some black grapes and sliced the one remaining banana. We used a honey mustard sauce for the dressing. It was very good. The chicken had been cooked with a "savory" seasoning it said. Just a nice touch of flavor. There is some left for later today. We are to meet my brother and sister-in-law in Newton. They are celebrating their anniversary and we will go for lunch together. Not sure where. They have been visiting her family for the last day or so, and will see her mother this morning. So I will be away from the computer for a while, like most of the day. It seems to be the story of my life.

Economical can still be tasty! It's nice when you can spread out meals with a chicken - your salad sounds good! Enjoy family time . . . better to be out and about living life than sitting at the computer anyway

When I have leftover chicken, I alwats make either a different potato salad or mix it with cooked rice and mayo.

Did you put a banana in your chicken salad? I have never heard of that before. I love chicken salad but I don't know if I would like a banana in it. I am glad you found it tasty. Have a fun lunch!
