I don’t have a set time for either, but I almost always go to bed after midnight. When I wake up is usually around 7:30am.

@Butterfingers yes. a good sleep is good for your health. Gives your body a good time to regain into a normal function.

Not any more. My body sleeps when it is tired and that is sometimes 4 times a day. I only sleep in 3-4 hour intervals, even at night and I have no idea why. I used to sleep through the night and stay awake through the day.

if I'm tired I automatically fall asleep, while I try to get up before 7 in the morning because I have some homework to do.

Fixed bed time? No. But my body clock wakes me up usually before 6am. Doesn't matter how late I sleep the night before, I'd still wake up early.

@Butterfingers I wish I could add more but like I said, my body automatically wakes up. And I couldn't force my body to go back to sleep.

During the school year when my kids have school, there is a set bedtime even in the summer I don't let them stay up past 10 pm and they wake when they wake. I take my sleep meds around 10 pm because it takes a little bit before they kick in. I wake up during the summer whenever I want a long with the kids.

@Butterfingers I never said I couldn't sleep without my meds I can. Just don't know if my restless legs will let me sleep. It's a sleep disorder and treatment for it usually is sleep med that helps block certain signals to the brain. It doesn't always work but most nights it does and I can sleep without being up all night with the need to get out of bed, the crawling of my skin, sometimes pain.

I pretty much go to bed and wake up at the same time every day. I guess my internal clock knows when I should go to sleep and when to wake up

@Butterfingers It's been my wake-up time for like 10 years already. My husband and children leave the house early for work and school. I get up ahead of them and prepare their packed meals and stuff.

I think you can not have fixed time of sleep. The moment you have finished eating your brain switch automatically into sleep. Waking up can be fixed by up setting an alarm at a specific time.
